Come and can taste the 2007 Altivo Classic Malbec from UCO Valley, Mendoza, Argentina. Wine taster John Larchet has given it a score of 87 points. The color of the wine is bright red-ruby. It has dark currant, mocha, menthol and spicy oak on the nose. You can join us at Highland Wine & Spirits, Highland.
2007 Altivo Classic Malbec tastes rather suave and restrained, with distinctly cool flavors of briary dark raspberry, currant, licorice and menthol framed by firm acidity. The wine could use a bit more personality but finishes best with dusty tannins.
